Drinking a cocktail should be a great experience that engages the senses. Gavin will take you through how to put together the perfect gin and tonic, Aperol Spritz and rusty nail.
Studying the rich history of the bartending is important if you want to understand the industry as it is today. You’ll delve into the fascinating journey of cocktail-making from the 1800s, pre-prohibition America and the tiki era to modern day mixology.
Gavin will demonstrate and explain the fundamental bartending techniques of shaking, pouring, muddling, stirring and rolling. He will also cover more advanced techniques including double bottle pour and chase pour. After the course, you’ll have a solid understanding of the core bartending techniques.
